ABOUT OLCRIM7
The acronym OLCRIM is Our Lady of Combermere and Rod Ian Minns. The 7 is the number of Sacraments and my seven kids from one wife.
The statue of Our Lady of Combermere is life-sized and bronze with arms outstretched running to love and hold us. It depicts the Mother of God's love in action for every person, her heart longing to bring each soul close to her Son, Jesus Christ.
Approved by the Sacred Congregation of Rites in Rome, and blessed by the local Bishop, the public shrine for Our Lady of Combermere was created in a beautiful grove of white pines near the highway in rural Combermere, Ontario, Canada.
I never hesitate to turn to Mary there with my heart's questions, sorrows and joys. She always comes to help me and show her love just as the Memorare says: "Never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided."The "C" in Combermere is like her arms holding me.
All the writing for OLCRIM7 is dedicated to her and her beloved Son centred in my one, holy, catholic and apostolic home. I'm the main author except when otherwise stated when I post writing from the saints and those not canonized.
